The Professional Barbers Association of Ghana and the Mepe Hair Estheticians Association have joined forces to offer free services to victims affected in Mepe due to the Akosombo Dam leak.

The talented CEOs started this charity project after many Mepes residents lost their homes and jobs after the floods.
In an Instagram video posted by TV3, hairdressers were busy at work as they transformed the look of children and women living in squalor following the unfortunate incident.

Top barbershop CEOs were present in their numbers to give free haircuts to the affected victims at Mepe in the Volta Region.

Earlier, YEN.com.gh wrote about Ghanaian actress Fella Makafui offered to provide invaluable goods to Mepe flood victims.
The gift was made in response to the leakage of the Akosombo-Kpong hydroelectric dam, which affected people living in the North Tongu area of the Volta Region.
On health issues, NADMO Director of Inspection Richard Amo-Yartey said GHS is working with the agency to prevent health emergencies.
