The Next Fintech Forum (NFF), the largest event in Francophone Africa dedicated to Fintech, is organizing its 5th edition on November 16u and 17u, at Radisson Blu, Abidjan.
This 2023 edition promises to be even bigger, bringing together players from the French-speaking African Fintech ecosystem around the central theme “Fintech and Trade: How Fintech Will Shape Trade in Francophone Africa”.
Inclusive funding for everyone, including market traders
NFF has established itself as a pillar of digital finance in French-speaking Africa. The event is a showcase for commercial banks, investors, students, insurance brokers, regulators, chambers of commerce, merchant associations, payment service providers, startups, fintech and more. Everyone comes together to discuss industry issues and opportunities, network and grow their businesses.
In his heart NFFIts mission is to promote inclusive finance for all, including actors in the informal sector, especially market traders. The forum acts as a platform for all Fintech industries, but is also the preferred meeting place for all those shaping the Fintech ecosystem. This year, associations of small traders are particularly keen to discover the opportunities offered by digital finance to boost their growth.
Fintech Academia Summit, a major attraction hub
The Next Fintech Forum is introducing a new initiative for its 2023 edition, the Fintech Academia Summit, a dynamic and unique platform designed to bring together African students from diverse backgrounds and African scholars from different fields of expertise who are passionate about financial services and technology. It is a space for innovation, collaboration, mutual learning and exploration of the latest trends and innovations in fintech, providing participants with the opportunity to:
- to collectively and responsibly shape Africa’s economic future,
- catalyze the digital transformation of the financial sector through research, education and collaboration
- development of curricula adapted to the labor market.
Blockchain Hackathon
Preparing for the future of Fintech in Africa. Another important innovation of this version is the Blockchain Hackathonwhich will bring together blockchain technology enthusiasts to face the challenge of proposing innovative solutions with implementation and funding potential.
Dedicated themes tailored to fintech industry players
The forum also includes around 20 discussions, workshops, panels and master classes led by around 50 renowned speakers, addressing topics dedicated to industry professionals.
