Dr Mahamudu Bawumia

“Actually, he lost in your constituency, Your Highness Lydia, so what are you trying to say? The vice president lost in your constituency, so what are you standing up for? I don’t know. Didn’t he lose in your constituency? He lost; he lost in Prince Afenyo’s constituency.
“Neither you nor he voted for him. As for the majority leader, you probably voted for him because you wanted to be the vice presidential candidate, but you didn’t vote for him,” he said. Told.
Reacting to the Minority Leader’s remarks, Majority Leader Osei Kyei Mensah-Bonsu said opposition members should avoid speculation and stick to budget deliberations.
He denied allegations that he campaigned to be chosen as vice presidential candidate.
“Yesterday, my colleague, a former minority leader, said that I am focused on running for vice president. Mr. Speaker, let me tell you this: I am not running for the vice presidential position. No. I am not involved in any campaign for the position of deputy candidate.
“It has to be loud and clear. My colleague also shouldn’t engage in speculation. He says I might have voted for vice president in the district, but what does that mean with the budget?” Is there a connection?” he said.
