The Miss Malaika 2023 beauty pageant kicked off with attendees rocking stunning costumes on the red carpet at the Accra International Convention Center (AICC) Grand Arena.
Guests arrived in stunning red carpet ensembles. Beautiful people graced the platform with stunning colors, style and class.

The grand final of the pageants took place on Friday/Saturday 24/25 November with people coming out to take part in the event.
YEN.com.gh reported that Lady Nana Yaa Nyarko, a Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) graduate, won this year’s crown. The 22-year-old beat nine other finalists to win the beauty pageant.

Ghanaian crew wins Best Short Film Award at Orlando Urban Film Festival 2023
Separately, YEN.com.gh reported that a Ghanaian crew received the Best Short Film award at the Orlando Urban Film Festival (OUFF) in Florida, USA.
Their exciting short film titled Otokunor earned them the honor at the prestigious event.
Otokunor, a film shot in Jamestown and directed by Kwame Kyei Baffour, premiered at the Independent Shorts Awards on July 23 and then in Los Angeles before moving to Orlando, Florida and other countries.
KNUST graduate wins 2024 Rhodes Scholarship for West Africa
In the meantime, YEN.com.gh reported that Magdalene Mawugbea, a 2022 graduate of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), has been declared the winner of the 2024 Rhodes Scholarship for West Africa.
