Jey Uso revealed his two options to dethrone Roman Reigns after his reign.
In September, Uso moved to Monday Night Raw after leaving SmackDown and leaving Bloodline.
Led by Roman, Bloodline featured his real-life cousins Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa, who are members of the famous Anoa’i family.
Since his arrival on the red brand, Uso headlined the main event of last month’s Survivor Series: WarGames and headlined Raw in a loss to World Heavyweight Champion Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins.
Asked by Mail Sport’s Alex McCarthy, who thought it would be best to put an end to Roman, Uso said, “I’d like to keep it in the family. I think Solo could be the next clan leader, but he has a bit of a ways to go. But who knows? Maybe Sami Zayn could come back?’
Asked if he thought Zayn could provide another challenge, he added:Of course, Sami is actually one of the top players. Other than maybe Mizz, Sami is my favorite wrestler.
“If you look at all his promos and the way he acts, behind the scenes, he’s the top man. I like to think my acting skills are fine, it’s sharp. That’s him”.
Speaking about working alongside his family, Uso added: “TThe best part – I keep saying this – is that I do it with my siblings and my family.
“I tell Solo sometimes, when you go out there you just embrace what’s going on. I mean, being in Maddison Square Garden with everybody flying – I appreciate it, man.
“Solo is a top performer. He’s like a sponge, he gets it. All you have to do is tell him once, he clicks with him. He’s going to go far in the business, like I said he’s got some growing up to do.”
Asked further what he thought of his special achievement at Wrestlemania against Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, he said:He was a great man, the first time it was a tag team main event at Wrestlemania, I felt like me and my brother had a big part to play in that.
“We’ve made the teams titles prestigious again, let alone being here with another team that can hold theirs.
“I was excited to go out there and put on a regular tag team match, no games, just regular tag team wrestling is the best kind of wrestling when it’s done right.
“Hopefully I’d like to bring it back with these two [Owens and Zayn] again friend”.
Elimination Chamber: Perth will take place at Optus Stadium in Western Australia on February 23. Tickets available now from www.ticketmaster.com.au
