The Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), in collaboration with the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) Training Center, has completed a training program for 12 electrical engineers and 12 technicians from selected countries in West Africa.
This training aims to improve the skills of engineers in power and distribution planning, design, system protection and control, and maintenance of electrical equipment. ECG training in Tema from 30th October to 15th December 2023 carried out by the Center.
Speaking at a ceremony to celebrate the successful completion of the program by engineers and electricians, ECG Training Center Director Mr Ing said: Mr. Godfred Mensah indicated that the trainees were given practical and theoretical knowledge during field trips to several electrical installations such as bulk supply points, stating that “the trainees were We plan to develop and actively pursue new change projects.” Return to the power company. ”
