Francis Asenso Boakye, Member of Parliament for Bantama Constituency in the Ashanti Region, submitted the nomination form.
The sitting councilor submitted the document to the constituency’s parliamentary election committee on Sunday, December 24th.
He took the opportunity to address the party leadership and delegates and thank them for their dedicated support over the past years.
In his speech, he credited polling officials who volunteered to buy ballots for him after he secured the job.

Reflecting on his achievements, Asenso Boakye highlighted his achievements in education, infrastructure, welfare and sports, as well as his commitment to the overall welfare of Bantama residents.
Notable projects include school construction, road and bridge development, the Bantama Nuclear Power Plant Welfare Fund, and the installation of an astroturf pitch.

“I have contributed in education, I have contributed in security, I have contributed in infrastructure and I have contributed in health. Since I became a member of parliament, we have seen development in all areas,” Asenso Boakye said. he said.
The lawmaker emphasized the importance of community engagement, highlighting initiatives such as community clinics and regular durbars.

Mr. Asenso Boakye arrived at the party office accompanied by over 500 party supporters and delegates gathered at the National Assembly constituency office in Bantama.
