The state burial of former Ningo Prampuram MP ET Mensah is scheduled for Friday, January 5, 2024.
The former Education Minister is scheduled to take office on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at his residence in Ningopurampuram.

of The former Member of State’s burial took place in the forecourt of the State House, where Ghanaians paid their last respects to the intelligent politician.
A thanksgiving service will also be held at Prampram Methodist Church on Sunday, January 7, 2024.

ET Mensah was born on May 17, 1946 and served as a member of Parliament from January 1997 to January 2017.
Previously, he served as the head of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly under the Jerry Rowling military government.
He served as Minister of Youth and Sports, Minister of Employment and Social Welfare, and Minister of Education under various National Democratic Congress governments.
He married and left behind seven children.
Previous rumors of ET Mensah’s death
In 2018, ET Mensah’s family had to come forward to deny reports that the former lawmaker had died.
These rumors about his death spread on the same day as the news that former United Nations Secretary-General Kofi Annan had died at the age of 80.
