A hard-working Mzansi woman who works as a teacher has made many netizens proud after she shared a TikTok video of herself throwing away her hard-earned cash.
Nothando Boutelezi (@iilovesky) shared a video showing off a home building project which is currently underway.
Nothando’s post also poked fun at the general perception that teachers don’t make much money as the young woman gave a view of the house in progress which is impressive.
According Talent.com, the average teacher salary in South Africa is R270 000 per year or R138 per hour. Entry-level positions start at R180 000 per annum, while most experienced workers make R599 607 per annum.
