Dr. Hua said, laying the foundation for Huawei’s global role in developing digital talent through the TECH4ALL program, the company has launched an effort to bridge the digital divide in collaboration with partners such as Unesco and Close the gap. “Huawei is committed to helping countries cultivate digital talent and improve digital skills and literacy.” Dr Hua said adding that “people with the right skills and knowledge will be vital throughout this process.”

On computing infrastructure and the integration of artificial intelligence, the president painted a picture of a future where the growth of computing power is not just a technology metric, but a driving force behind the sharing of the digital economy, saying that: “A growth point in the computing index translates into a 3.5% increase in the size of the digital economy and a 1.8% increase in national GDP.”
