Samuel Okuzeto Ablakwa, Member of Parliament for North Tongu
Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, Member of Parliament for North Tongu, has been the subject of political interactions on social media platform X (formerly known as Twitter).
Mr Ablakwa has recently won praise across the political divide for his efforts to raise funds to resettle voters affected by the spilling of two dams in the Volta region.
While Ablakwa is focused on campaigning for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) to replace former President John Dramani Mahama, one X user called for Ablakwa to be considered as a serious presidential candidate in the future. .

His views drew reaction, among other things, that he could make a strong case for leading the nation through service to the people.
Others vehemently opposed Mr. Ablakwa, arguing that he was no different from any other politician.
Mr. Ablakwa was the spokesperson for Mr. Mahama’s running mate in the 2020 general elections, Professor Nana Jane Opoku Agyemang.
He is currently ranked as one of the most effective MPs due to his anti-corruption campaign and support to voters at various levels.
