Ghanaian radio host Shirley EF Tibila has always been vocal about her humble beginnings being looked after by a resilient single mother.
The TV show host once shared that she lost her mom at the young age of 19 and recounted seeing her father only three times in her entire life.
In honor of her late mom, who died in 2002, the show, through her new foundation Mabel’s Angels, invited single mothers and widows to 37 MIllitry Hospital.

According to Cookie Tee, her late mom was happy to give her away, and she believes that trait was passed down to her.
The famous broadcaster said she promised her mom to use the limelight to bless others, especially single mothers and widows who are the main beneficiaries of her foundation.
For the foundation’s first project, Cookie Tee visited the maternity ward at 37 Military Hospital with items sought by sponsors.
The broadcaster said the foundation also gave cash in envelopes for all patients and helped with the medical bills of some special cases.
In a video shared on the platform of the television station, TV3, was seen crying uncontrollably after interacting with a seriously ill patient.

Wendy Shay returns to her hometown with a donation
Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that Ghanaian singer, Wendy Shay stormed into the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, where she was born, to celebrate her 28th birthday with a touching gesture.
The singer donated various items, including cots and suction machines, to the hospital and settled the medical bills of mothers whose babies were born on her birthday.
