Yango partners with Tecno Mobile
International technology company Yango has joined forces with innovative technology brand TECNO to improve the working conditions of its driver partners while providing technological benefits to Yango platform partners and users. This strategic partnership was signed on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 in a short ceremony in Accra.
The cooperation based on the excellence and unique features of both companies will enable all stakeholders, especially the partner drivers, to greatly save on modern smartphones which are a basic requirement for efficient operations on the Yango platform.
Associates and drivers now have the opportunity to access TECNO’s ‘Buy Now, Pay Later’ program, which gives them the flexibility to buy modern smartphones and pay for them in affordable installments, making it easy for them to stay connected while on the go on the go. This will significantly reduce the financial burden on these partners and drivers.
Yango app users will also benefit from this partnership as they can now upgrade to a new TECNO device and pay for it in installments, providing a seamless and cost-effective approach to staying connected while enjoying the convenience of a ride service. .

With this new plan, both Yango and TECNO aim to empower individuals to stay connected and productive without the burden of a down payment.

Both companies partnered at the just-concluded Africa Cup of Nations for digital co-investment and merchandise subsidy. Many Ghanaians enjoyed a unique viewing experience of the AFCON matches while walking away with free merchandise from both TECNO and Yango.
