The New Patriotic Party (NPP) campaign chairman, Dan Botwe, confidently predicts victory for NPP flag bearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in the upcoming December elections.
Botwe, who previously held the position of local government minister, insists the NPP is ready to take over governance and secure a majority of votes in the next parliamentary and presidential elections.
Addressing reporters in Accra, Dan Botwe expressed confidence that the NPP will break the jinx of the eight-year electoral cycle and emerge victorious.
He underlined the party’s determination to work hard towards achieving its goals, including securing a majority of 275 seats.
“…We will work hard to ensure that we achieve our goals. And we will win a majority of 275 seats in Congress and more than 50 percent in the presidential election.”
Flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, addressing the media after a meeting with campaign and manifesto teams, said the NPP has a better track record compared to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and is poised to win the December polls. I was optimistic that it would happen. ).
“We have a vision, we have a record, and that is clear from the President’s exhilarating speech at the State of the Union. Listening to the President, we are outperforming the NDC government in every area. It was clear: there wasn’t a single sector where they outperformed us.”
