SDNY Court, February 27 – A Ghanaian-based influencer was slammed for:ix-count An indictment charging MONA FAIZ MONTRAGE with her role in a series of romance schemes and laundering the proceeds of those schemes. MONTRAGE He was arrested in the UK on November 10, 2022 and extradited from the UK on May 12, 2023.

On May 24th, the executed bond was entered into the paperwork. Co-signatories are Haruna Hashimiyu, Fatahia Chong, and Aishet Al Hassan.
On October 6, the pre-trial conference was postponed for one month.
On Nov. 8, Montrage’s new attorney sent a letter asking for an additional 60 days.
February 21, 2024, Guilty Plea: “Today’s guilty plea of Mona Faiz Montrege for her role in laundering the proceeds of a series of romance scams.Montrage appeared before U.S. Magistrate Judge Sarah L. Cave today. MONTRAGE also agreed to forfeit $2,164,758.41 and pay restitution in the same amount.”
On February 27, the U.S. Attorney’s Office offered Montrage a plea deal, saying he would not appeal a sentence of less than 46 months. Plea bargain on Patreon here.
