Asamoah Gyan ignores backlash from critics for joining Bawumia campaign team
Not so long ago, YEN.com.gh reported that former Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has revealed that he is not bothered by critics targeting his personality on his appointment to serve in Dr Mahamadu Bawumia’s 2024 campaign team.
Gyan was appointed to the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flag bearer Manifesto Committee for the 2024 elections where he would oversee the Youth and Sports manifesto sub-committee. The retired footballer faced a backlash from a section of the Ghanaian public after he accepted to serve in Vice President Dr Bawumia’s team.
