Ghanaian Afro-dancehall star Stonebwoy, known privately as Livingstone Etse Satekla, headlined the closing ceremony of the 13th African Games in Accra.
On March 23, a number of musicians across the continent including Wiyaala, Congolese Innos B and Cameroon’s Stanley Enow took turns to serenade the packed Legon Sports Stadium.
Stonebwoy was the last to take the stage with a crowd of dancers to bring down the curtains on the multi-week African Games.
Stonebwoy new song outdoors
Stonebwoy kicked off his set with his recording success with Angelique Kidjo, who was under consideration for the 66th Grammy Awards and unpaid led many others from his catalog of hits spanning different genres.

As part of his show, Stonebwoy preached the message of African Unity to inspire the mixed audience at the show.
To top off his performance, Stonebwoy, who had just won Best African Dancehall Entertainer, boasted about his Afro-dancehall status and unveiled an unreleased dancehall song to the audience.
He introduced Nigeria’s Odumodublvk on stage and performed his verse as a guest unreleased dancehall track.
