The line-up of athletes has been confirmed, including 81 Olympians
The Olympic qualifying series will feature an equal number of male and female athletes, with participation from 120 National Federations on all continents. All 464 athletes set to compete in the Olympic qualifying series have now been confirmed by their respective International Federations, with the latest confirmation including a roster of 176 skateboarders.
The lineup for the Olympic Qualifier Series features 81 Olympians, including 18 Olympians from Tokyo 2020, such as Yuto Horigome (Street Skateboarding, Gold, Japan), Sky Brown (Skateboard Park, Bronze, Great Britain), Miho Nonaka (Sports boulder and lead climbing, Japan), Logan Martin (BMX freestyle, gold, Australia) and Hannah Roberts (BMX freestyle, silver, USA).

About the Olympic qualifying series
The Olympic Qualifier Series, a key project under the Olympic Agenda 2020+5, brings together the best athletes in BMX freestyle, break, skateboarding and sport climbing in a single urban park. The compact events, held over four days, offer fans an immersive Olympic experience that combines sport, art, music and culture. The Shanghai stop of the Series will take place at Huangpu Riverside from 16 to 19 May 2024, while the Budapest event will take place at the Ludovika Campus from 20 to 23 June 2024. The two-part series, which takes place between leading up to the Olympic Games, it will be an important step in determining which athletes will qualify for Paris 2024.

Please note that the Paris 2024 quota numbers used in our announcements are a participation projection based on estimates in collaboration with the International Federations. 150+ quota places will be allocated after the Olympic qualification series in Budapest, which is the last event in the respective qualification process. The exact allocation, determination and timing of these allocations will be in accordance with the relevant Qualification System.
Official quota allocation procedures should be followed to confirm entries between EOs and EOs in accordance with the Olympic Charter and the respective qualification system for each sport.
