seven years ago, Tech Labari (formerly Tech Nova) has officially been released. Our mission was to publish and report technology stories in the Ghanaian and later African tech ecosystem.
Our platform has undergone several iterations and changes over the past seven years. We’ve gone from covering gadgets to looking at different African tech ecosystems.
We are currently laser focused on a few things:
Our news and features
We have focused more on publishing news not only in Ghana, but in Nigeria, Kenya, Rwanda and South Africa. Our main focus remains on news and features that highlight the African tech ecosystem.
Podcasts
We have officially launched our first podcast show “What is your story?” in 2022. On the show, we talk to entrepreneurs and founders about their past lives and how they built their companies and careers. We start season 3 3 this month.
We started our second show “The Labari Media Podcastin 2023 to have more conversations with entrepreneurs, founders and others to discuss various topics such as crypto, customer service, investment, and media.
Data points
We launched the Data Insights/Data Points section to leverage more data storytelling stories about Ghana and Africa. This section includes data visualizations in different sectors such as technology finance, entertainment, sports and other areas in Africa.
Newsletters
Our newsletters are still going strong as we publish our weekly newsletters to round up all the week’s news for our subscribers.
