On Friday, March 29, four people are believed to have been shot dead in Sampa, Jaman North District, Bono Region, in a new chieftaincy dispute.
Their identities have not yet been determined, but Graphic Online has identified all of the deceased as men.
An unspecified number of people, including a 12-year-old boy, are said to have sustained gunshot wounds and are currently receiving treatment at various medical facilities in the area.

Sources said Okogiama Samor-Dua sent his employees on Friday to collect cashew royalties from purchasing companies in the area as it was cashew season.
During the collection process, Nana Samba Gyafra II also sent a collection team to collect the same fees on his behalf, he said.
As a result, a misunderstanding arose between the two collectors, leading to the firing, the statement said.
Officials said one member of the Okogima Samor Dua II collection team was shot dead on the spot. Learning that a team member has been shot dead, they call on their colleagues to avenge his death.
