Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II built a state-of-the-art convention center at Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.
The new conference centre, Otumfuo Osei II Jubilee Hall, was commissioned on Monday, April 15, 2024.

As the name suggests, it was built to mark the 25th anniversary of Nana Osei Tutu II’s accession as Asantehene.
According to Otumfuo Foundation, the conference hall has a capacity of 2000 seats, offices, kitchen, 60 (30 male and 30 female) toilets and a 400 seat cocktail room. The facility has a parking lot that can accommodate 150 cars at a time.

Otumfuo’s last son was elected school prefect
Meanwhile, the late Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, Nana Kwame Kyeretwie, has been elected as the head prefect of his school, DPS International.
Kwame Kyeretwie was sworn in as the prefect of the school at an award ceremony on Tuesday, April 9, 2024.
