Phil Foden (£8.4m) is among three Manchester City players named in the best XI for matchday 36 Fantasy Premier League.
The midfielder is his side’s top scorer in home games ahead of their clash with Wolverhampton this weekend.
Foden has collected 113 of his 199 points this season at the Etihad Stadium, scoring eight goals and providing six assists.
Named to a team that lines up in a 3-4-3 formation, with Erling Haaland (£14.1m) gave the armband and Cole Palmer (£6.2m) was appointed vice-captain.
Mark Flekken (Brentford) £4.7m
A visit from Fulham gives the Brentford keeper the chance to extend his improved form at home. Flekken has kept a clean sheet in each of the Bees’ last two games at the Gtech Community Stadium, collecting 18 points.
Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool) £8.4m
The Liverpool right-back offers multiple routes for the return against Tottenham at Anfield. Alexander-Arnold has dropped just twice in 10 home starts this season, averaging 6.3 points per game in those contests thanks to one goal, four assists and five clean sheets.
Gabriel (Arsenal) £5.4m
The Arsenal centre-back has immense potential at both ends of the pitch at home to AFC Bournemouth. Gabriel has helped the Gunners keep 16 league clean sheets in 2023/24, while his 26 shots in the box rank second among all defenders in Fantasy.
Josko Guardiol (Man City) £5.0m
Manchester City’s Croatian is the most bought defender of the Week, signed by 130,000+ managers before Deadline Friday 18:30 BST. Guardiol combined two goals and an assist with three clean sheets in his last six matches to collect 44 points.
Boukayo Saka (Arsenal) £9.0m
His goal and assist against Spurs last weekend took the Arsenal winger to 214 points, making 2023/24 his best Fantasy season. Saka scored and earned nine points in a 4-0 win over Bournemouth in Matchday 7.
Phil Foden (Manchester City) £8.4m
Foden has scored five goals in his last three league home outings, collecting 38 points.
Kai Havertz (Arsenal) £7.5m
The German has been entertaining Bournemouth on the back of back-to-back double-digit runs over the last two gameweeks. Havertz has eight goals, six assists and a team-high 100 points since Game 25, 30 more than Saka and Martin Odegaard (£8.6m) for the Gunners.
Cole Palmer (Chelsea) £6.2m
A home clash with West Ham United gives Chelsea’s Castrol Golden Boot candidate the chance to score more goals. Palmer faces a Hammers side that have conceded at least four goals in two of their last three away trips.
Erling Haaland (Manchester City) £14.1m
Having marked his return from injury with an off-the-bench goal against Nottingham Forest last weekend, the Norwegian looks set to start against Wolves. In home games this season, Haaland’s 19 big chances and 55 shots in the box are both more than double of any teammate.
Ollie Watkins (Aston Villa) £9.0m
The Aston Villa forward has made 17 league attacking returns in away games this season, scoring 10 goals and assisting a further seven. Watkins had his best Fantasy game with 23 points against hosts Brighton & Hove Albion in Game 7, thanks to three goals and two assists.
Jean-Philippe Mateta (Crystal Palace) £5.1m
The Crystal Palace striker has been a huge success under new manager Oliver Glasner, scoring in all five of his home appearances under the Austrian. Mateta hosts Manchester United with seven goals, one assist and 48 points in those games.
