eTransact Global Limitedprovider of payment technology solutions, has announced that it has expanded its operations by obtaining a license from the Central Bank of Uganda (BoU).

The BoU under the National Payment Systems Act, 2020 issued two licenses in the categories of Payment Systems Administrator – (Small capital transfer, clearing systems or switches) and Payment service provider Category A (Small Electronic Money Issuer) in the company called eTranzact Platform Limited, Uganda.

Speaking to the press, the Group’s CEO and Founder eTransact Global Limited, Dr Valentine Obi, at a press conference he said:
