The Ghanaian rapper and host of 3 Music TV’s Culture Daily has announced his enrollment at the Academy.
His announcement has excited many fans who want more representation in the Academy.

The rapper will meet other top Ghanaians who are already members of the Recording Academy, such as Elizabeth Ntiamoah, Country Manager of Boomplay Ghana and Alex Adjavon, founder of Imullar.
Speaking exclusively to YEN.com.gh about C-Real’s enrollment in the Recording Academy Class of 2024, entertainment analyst Yaw Boadu-Ayeboafoh said;
“C-Real joins many other Ghanaians as voting members of the Academy and it’s great to see. Representation is a big deal in venues like this and representing the recording academy as Ghanaians can be a great catalyst for the unceasing efforts of the creators for global success”.
Other notable musicians joining the Academy from across the continent are Nigerian producer Malek Berry and singer of Gospel Limo Blaze.
Stonebwoy joined many fans in the comments to share The excitement of C-Realsaying, “Go and reach them.”

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that the Recording Academy had announced plans to create an African version of the prestigious Grammy Awards programme.
A statement released by the organizers on June 11 said the Academy had signed special agreements with its African stakeholders including Rwanda, Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa.
Dentaa Amoateng, senior adviser for the Recording Academy, clarified that Ghana was not one of the founding members because of the few resources the country lacked.
