Telecel Ghana has won a total of six awards for its outstanding achievements in telecommunications leadership, digital transformation, innovation in broadband access, corporate social responsibility (CSR) and innovative product development.
The National Communications Awards (NCAs) judged CEO, Patricia Obo-Nai as CEO of the Year – Telecom with President of Women in Technology at Telecel Ghana, Juliana Ametorwogo is recognized with the Extraordinary woman in technology prize.
Mrs. Obo-Nai expressed her gratitude for the recognition of her leadership and the multiple honors the telco received on the night.
“We are thrilled to receive these awards, which demonstrate Telecel’s commitment to technological innovation, social good and our unwavering focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences,” he said.
“These achievements are a testament to the hard work and talents of our employees.”
The other four awards include CSR Campaign of the Year – Connected Health Initiatives of the Foundation, Digital Transformation Team of the Year (Silver Category), Innovative product of the year – Edamu Campaign and Access Innovation Award (Broadband Connectivity) – Fixed Broadband.
The prizes, which were awarded to the 6u The annual NCAs – Digital Future Edition – held at the Marriott Hotel in Accra, highlighted Telecel Ghana’s commitment to driving developments in the telecommunications industry and making a significant positive impact on society.
The NCAs is a prestigious awards platform to showcase and honor notable achievements and initiatives that have had a significant impact across industries.
