Ghanaian actress and TV presenter Emelia Brobbey has paid a glowing tribute to her co-star, Nana Ama McBrown, for her latest role in her acting career.
In a recent interview with Angel TV, Emelia Brobbey mentioned that McBrown helped her settle in when she first got into film.
According to her, she got her first break after being taken on an audition tour by actor Daniel Adeleye, but McBrown made her feel right at home.

The actress she explained that in the early days of her career, she used to commute from Obuasi, where she taught, to Kumasi for movie shoots. McBrown agreed to host her whenever she came to Kumasi to make things easier.
He eventually quit teaching to pursue acting full time, moving from Obuasi to Kumasi. Through it all, McBrown remained supportive.
Brobbey stated that giving up teaching did not sit well with her father. To appease him, she enrolled at the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) to get a degree.
Here again, McBrown’s support became particularly important. Broby fondly recalled:
“At my graduation, Nana Ama McBrown made me a beautiful dress. She came with my fellow actors to support me at my graduation ceremony. I will never forget what she did for me.”

The actress expressed her deep gratitude for McBrown’s selfless acts and praised her for constantly looking out for those close to her.

McBrown is pleading with the US Embassy for the ban
Meantime, YEN.com.gh earlier reported that McBrown had appealed to the US Embassy to lift the travel ban imposed on her two decades ago.
The Onua Showtime presenter, who was deported from the US in 2001, has not been able to visit the country since then.
In a recent interview with Bola Ray, McBrown pleaded with the embassy to reconsider the ban as it has a good track record since then.
