ChitChat, a leading social commerce platform, has joined forces with Mastercard to introduce new virtual debit cards.

This partnership will allow users to access a one-stop shop where they can transact and shop online, manage membership payments and transfer money across the continent in real-time—all with the convenience of its messaging interface ChitChat app.
The app has an interactive chat feature where users can instantly discuss expenses and allow them to instantly transfer money using the virtual card, without any fuss.

Through the launch of ChitChat’s virtual card, cross-border payments will be accelerated and transactions that traditionally required a visit to a bank, extensive paperwork and days of waiting with high fees can now be done directly within the app.
In addition, users can store funds in multiple currencies, offering protection against local currency fluctuations and inflation and simplifying cross-border transactions.
