TLcom Capitalone of Africa’s largest venture capital firms, has officially announced its 6th edition of the Africa Tech Female Founder Summit, which will take place on Tuesday, October 15, 2024 in Nairobi, Kenya. The Summit – the largest gathering of female tech entrepreneurs in Africa – now has open applications for the participants.

Thematic “Transformational Leadership: Redefining Success in Technology”the 2024 Africa Tech Female Founder Summit is designed to unite, inspire and empower female founders across Africa, offering a platform to learn from each other and build supportive networks. The topic will also highlight the importance of transformational leadership and strategic partnerships in scaling businesses in the technology industry.
This year’s event boasts an exciting lineup of speakers, including female founders Nelly Chatue-Diop [Ejara], Nneile Nkholise [Thola], Rasha Randy [Chefaa], and Sneha Mehta [Uncover]who will hold a panel at “Scaling and Sustaining Growth”.
The Summit will also hold a series of workshops and mentoring sessions on topics such as; “Budgeting and KPI Planning” with Daisy Leech, [TLcom]and “Growth Strategies and Successful Scaling” with Wadia Gichuru [Vivo].
In addition, shortlisted startups will have the unique opportunity to pitch their companies and gather feedback from Africa’s top investors, such as Yemi Keri [Rising Tide Africa] and Joyce-Anne Wainai [Chui Ventures].

Over 500 African Women Tech Entrepreneurs have attended previous editions of the Summit with last year’s event in Lagos taking center stage Planet FWD‘small Julia Collinsthe first black woman to build a unicorn, as the title speaker.
Earlier speakers have also appeared Julia Gillardformer prime minister and president of Australia Andelaas well as Meg Whitman, its former CEO eBay, Hewlett-Packard and current US Ambassador to Kenya and Funke OpekeIts founder and CEO MainOnea technology infrastructure company in Nigeria that successfully exited into one of the largest infrastructure technology companies on the continent.
