Ghanaian actor Adjetey Anang popularly known as Pusher has clarified why most actors and actresses do not join the street protests when the country’s youth are calling for support to fight for a good course.
The famous actor noted during an interview with TV3 that most of these directors are fighting against some of the unrest in society through the stories they tell in the films they produce.

He noted that some of these related issues permeate the films they produce, which is the best way to deal with them as a creative.
“You can have fun and have fun, but look, there are serious issues going on out there, and we have to pay attention to that. So we’re able to craft the stories that we’re telling so well, and that’s the best thing, and I think there we must be heard”, he noted.

His comments follow the recent demonstration by Democracy Hub, which led to the arrest of some protesters.
