Bafana Bafana coach Hugo Broos says he will turn things around for the upcoming international friendlies.

The international window is between March 18 and 26.
“There will definitely be new players [the friendlies] on March. I don’t think it will be 10 but there are some positions in the team that require more attention than others.
“For example, on the right side there is no problem and we don’t need to look for another right back because Khuliso Mudau has Nyiko Mobbie. [as cover].
“There are some positions that we need to consider. We will see what happens with Themba Zwane. Let’s Themba [continues]we need [to groom] someone to replace him.

“I have already spoken to assistant coach Helman Mkhalele and next Friday when we return to South Africa we will try to find new players to be invited to camp in March.
“Let’s hope we can find players who can help us in the next World Cup qualifiers.”
Bruce also praised his support coaches and medical team in a chat with SAFA media.

The coach has not yet spoken about his future. However, it seems SAFA want to keep him in place.
“I also want to thank the staff, and what I mean by that is – you know when you achieve something like this now, third place, people talk about the manager, people talk about the players, but nobody talks about all that. other people who worked day and night for almost four to five weeks,” he told SAFA Media.
He also added: “I am talking about the medical staff. These people worked until 1 o’clock in the morning to get the players back in good shape, massage, treat. He was always there for the players.
“Without them we wouldn’t have done it [have] we have achieved our success. Even the kit manager, the security officer and you Romi [Titus, Bafana Media Officer], you were part of what we did. Without you, we wouldn’t have done it.”

“Well, it’s the work of a whole team, a whole team that I ask. I remember the first day of camp, I said, ‘I just want one thing and that’s that everyone works for the good of this team,’ and they did.”

“And I think that’s one of the reasons why we achieved this fantastic third place. Again, a happy coach, a proud coach and I thank everyone for that.”
