Alonso makes the preference clear
Xabi Alonso would rather join Bayern Munich than Liverpool if he decides to leave Bayer Leverkusen in the summer, it has been claimed.
The highly-rated Spaniard is a man in demand after impressing in his first managerial role in Germany and has quickly emerged as the standout candidate to replace Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool.
However, Bayern Munich are also in the market for a new manager this summer and have already opened talks with Alonso, according to Sky Germany. And according to the same report, Alonso’s preference between Bayern and Liverpool would be the German champions.

Egypt threatens Salah

Salah’s lack of action has not deterred Egypt from calling up the powerful forward for their international commitments later this month – and they plan to use Salah if he features at all for Liverpool next fortnight, according to Ehab El-Komy, member of Egypt FA.
