Digging deeper
Chatterbox is a social commerce platform that allows users across Africa to chat with each other through an encrypted platform. Built with security and effortless payments in mind, ChitChat allows users to send instant payments in USD to friends and family within chat conversations.
Funds are transferred to and from user wallets, with in-app conversion from USD to Zambian Kwacha and vice versa is also offered.
After the launch in Zambia, users can chat and transact by sending money to each other’s wallets.
When the USD cards launch in Q2, users can complete transactions in person using the ChitChat card as they would any other.
In the coming weeks, ChitChat will be rolling out new features, including group wallets.
