Blakk Rasta weighs in on the Funny Face incident
Talking about 3FMOn his Urban Blend show, Blakk Rasta said that the country failed Funny Face and that the state should have ensured that he was mentally competent even after being released from the mental institution, before granting him a driver’s license.

He said the state should have confiscated his driver’s license and committed him to a mental health facility once his social media outbursts began.
Citing the veteran comedian as an example, Blakk Rasta advised Ghanaians to take their mental health seriously, adding that the state should take responsibility for the recent car accident.
“Our nation has once again failed the citizens. We don’t take mental health seriously and it hurts me,” Blakk Rasta said.
Blakk Rasta further stated that:
“He had been to a mental institution a few times. Did they recommend taking away his driver’s license? We have failed the young children involved in the accident. We have failed Funny Face himself,” he declared.

YEN.com.gh reported that actor and comedian Funny Face was involved in an accident on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at Kakraba junction near Kasoa, which left five people in a critical condition.
A sad video showing the poor condition of his Sedan with registration number GN1134-16 has gone viral on social media.
Many prayed for the victims, while others questioned his actions as he was allegedly drunk while driving.
