TotalEnergies CAF Champions League champions Al Ahly are looking to extend their dominance on the continent with a record that extends to 12u year.
Egyptian giants lift Africa’s most sought-after Under-11 trophyu times last season and as they prepare to face Tanzanian giants Simba AC on Friday, they will have 12u the title in view.
It will not be an easy encounter in Dar es Salaam where they will be up against a tough Simba SC side who will be boosted by the very vocal Tanzanian supporters.

Brief History:
Al Ahly was founded in 1907 and is one of the oldest football clubs on the continent. The club has a large following in Egypt and selected Arab countries who always turn out in their numbers when the club competes in the FIFA Club World Cup.
They were recently named the Club of the Century for their resounding and consistent success on the continent.
Accomplishments
Al-Ahly Club has won the Premier League title in Egypt 43 times, which is the highest ever in Egyptian football. They also have 38 Egyptian Cup titles and 14 Egyptian Super Cup gold medals.
Continental Success
The Club of the Century has 11 TotalEnergies CAF Champions League titles, one CAF Confederations Cup as well as eight CAF Super Cup titles. Making them the most successful football club in CAF inter-club competitions.
Coach: Marcel Kohler
Swiss-born Marcel Kohler has done extremely well in Al Ahly’s coaching position.
Aged 63, Kohler boasts a wealth of experience of the game, with a coaching career dating back to 1997 with stints at various clubs in Austria that eventually led him to the continent’s biggest club.
Key Player: Hussain Al-Shahat
Hussein El-Sahat is considered one of the most important players in the Egyptian Premier League and one of the key players of the manager, Marcel Kohler. Possessing great speed and tactical awareness with a never-say-die attitude, the winger will surely be key in Ahly’s quest for 12u title.
