The Safeguard Global ACT Brumbies have announced their squad for this weekend’s Round 5 clash against Western Power, kicking off at 14:35 AEST at Viking Park this Saturday.
Head coach Scott Fava made changes to the squad for the final match of the regular season, with four players returning to the starting line-up following the team’s Round 4 match against Fiji’s Drua.
Chioma Enyi returns to the starting side, taking her place on the wing after appearing off the bench in the forwards from Round 2.
Sally Fuesaina has been placed in the front row, along with Tania Naden and Iroha Kishimoto. Caped Wallaroo Kayla Sauvao also lines up at center once again after coming off the bench in last weeks home game. This change will see skipper Siokapesi Palu return to the number six jersey and Loretta Mailangi back to the bench after their late switch in Round 4.
On the bench is Orange native and front-row worker Madeleine Gogala, who is in line to make her Women’s Super Rugby debut at Viking Park. Also on the bench for the first time this season is outside back Martha Fua, who comes into the side after a terrific performance for the Gungahlin Eagles in the Premier 15s competition last week.
