Bolta leading riding platform in Africa, launched the “Scheduled rides‘ characteristic of Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban, and Qqeberha, allowing users to book rides as long as 72 hours earlier.
Details
Scheduled rides ensure that riders are not bothered about the availability of drivers during peak hours. To ensure that many drivers participate in this pool, customers will pay additional fees to enjoy this feature.
The new feature will also be valuable to business customers. Through the Ride Booker feature in their Bolt Business account, business customers can now book work-related travel or book their business guests.
In addition, riders can select their desired category and include special instructions for drivers. This helps tailor each ride to the rider’s needs.
Another major advantage that this new feature offers is that there will be no increase in pricing. This will allow riders to book trips without worrying about a possible change in the current charge.
What they say
Speaking of the new feature, the Director of PR at Bolt, Sandra Suzanne Buyolehe said: “We are excited to announce the launch of scheduled rides in select cities. At Bolt, we understand the importance of convenience and reliability to our riders, and this new feature underscores our dedication to providing a seamless transportation experience.
With scheduled rides, our riders can now plan their trips with confidence, knowing their Bolt ride will be waiting for them when they need it. We look forward to continuing to innovate and improve the way people get around their cities.”
