Job title: IT Technical Support Manager

Job description
- Keep computer systems running smoothly and make sure users get the most out of them
- Install and configure computer hardware operating systems and applications
- Monitoring and maintenance of computer systems and networks
- Engage staff in a range of activities, either face-to-face or over the phone, to help set up systems or resolve issues
- System and network troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving hardware or software errors
- Replace parts as needed
- Installation and configuration of computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers and scanners
- Monitoring and maintenance of computer systems and networks
- Timely response to issues and service requests
- Provide company-wide technical support (this can be in person or over the phone)
- Perform analyzes on software application functionality and suggest improvements.
- Ensuring efficient functionality of front-end and back-end applications.
- Consult with the software development team, internal users, and customers to improve application performance.
- Manage code migration across environments to ensure continuous and synchronized functionality.
- Identify root causes of application errors and escalate serious concerns to Senior Engineer.
- Keeping a log of configuration changes and scheduling application updates.
- Documenting processes and tracking application performance metrics.
- Provide front-end support to customers and colleagues
- Design, implementation, management, monitoring and upgrading of the organization’s website.
- Respond and troubleshoot all website issues.
- Detect and respond to all site security breaches.
- Ensuring that the website is protected by enabling appropriate security measures.
- Update HTML, CSS and JavaScript regularly.
- Conduct content checks to eliminate redundant and/or duplicate information.
- Creating appropriate website content aligned with the organization’s strategy.
- Ensuring the quality and effectiveness of the website by conducting regular testing plans.
- Improving the user experience of the website regularly.
- Collaborate with all staff and management to ensure the website aligns with brand strategy and meets organizational standards.
- Ensuring full compliance of the website with all laws and regulations.
- Informing industry best practices and monitoring
Job Requirements and Experience Qualifications:
Must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology and Communications or HND in the relevant subject area and must have served as an ICT Assistant at a comparable level in a similar organization for at least four (4) years. Other professional qualifications will be considered an advantage.
