The Mobile Money Advocacy Group (MoMAG) has suspended the GH¢1,000 withdrawal limit.

The agents put the cap on in early December to protest what they consider unsatisfactory compensation.
In a statementMoMAG said the protest was to draw attention to their long-standing concerns about insufficient compensation for their services.

Now, the team said it is awaiting the final decision as promised by the Ghana Chamber of Telecommunications and other telcos.
He said continuing the protest after engagements with other stakeholders would be disrespectful.
The groups that participated in the protest were Northern MoMo Agents Association of Ghana, Mobile Money Advocacy Group, Mobile Money Agents Association Ghana and ABAG.
MTN increases product prices
In a separate story, YEN.com.gh reported that MTN Ghana has increased the prices of its product offers, effective November 28, 2023.
The telco said the price hike was due to increased operating costs.
MTN has many products such as data band bundles, midnight bundles, social media bundles, regular bundles, etc.
