Scout gives five players tips for big success in his Gameweek 21 Fantasy Premier League in front of Deadline Friday 18:15 GMT.
Bernardo Silva (Manchester City) £6.5m
The Portuguese’s form on the road suggests he will be a key figure for Manchester City’s trip to Newcastle United.
Silva has 57 points in away games in 2023/24 Fantasy, second only to 61 Erling Haaland (£13.9m) between teammates.
His ability to create big chances was a hallmark in those matches. Silva created eight such chances, at least twice as many as any other Man City player. As a result, he has provided all four of his assists this season in away games.
The midfielder’s recent performances suggest that his prospects for attacking returns have improved.
Indeed, Silva has scored in each of Man City’s last two road trips, collecting 22 points.
Pervis Estupinan (Brighton) £4.9m
The Brighton & Hove Albion left-back has wasted no time reminding managers of his attacking potential since returning from injury.
Estupinan has scored in two of the Seagulls’ last three games in all competitions, including a goal against Tottenham in Matchday 19.
His strike in that 4-2 win over Spurs took the Ecuadorian’s tally to two goals and three assists in just eight 2023/24 Fantasy appearances.
In a season where clean sheets have been hard to come by, Brighton’s upcoming run of opponents suggests that Estupinan’s attacking output could make him a crucial figure in the managers’ defense for many games to come.
According to Match difficulty ratings (FDR), seven of their next eight games saw them score just two, including their home clash with Wolverhampton Wanderers in Gameweek 21.
Ben Brereton (Chefs United) £5.0m
A kind upcoming schedule for Sheffield United gives the Chilean star, who is classified as a Fantasy midfielder, the chance to impress after arriving on loan from Spain’s Villarreal.
Three of the Blades’ next four games net two at FDR, including their home game against West Ham United in Gameweek 21.
Brereton endured a disappointing first season in Spain, netting in each of his 14 league appearances.
However, his record of 36 goals and seven assists in his last two seasons at Blackburn Rovers in the Championship suggests he can help improve Sheff United’s attacking prospects.
They have only conceded 15 goals this season, at least five less than any other team.
Malo Gusto (Chelsea) £4.2m
Costing just £4.2m, the Chelsea defender has the games to provide excellent short-term Fantasy value.
According to FDR, three of the Blues’ next four matches will see them score just two, which include home meetings with Fulham and Wolves.
Gusto’s performances at Stamford Bridge suggest he can deliver a big game against the Cottagers on Saturday.
He has provided all three assists this season in his five home starts.
Lyle Foster (Burnley) £4.8m
The Burnley forward is expected to recover from a minor leg problem ahead of the home game against Luton Town on Friday night.
After taking time out to get help for mental health issues, Foster has underlined his importance to the Clares recently, notching a goal and an assist in their last three league games.
Indeed, he has proven to be one of the most consistent forwards in Fantasy this season, with offensive returns in seven of his 11 appearances.
That includes a goal and nine points in Foster’s previous meeting with Luton in Gameweek 7.
