West Indies won the toss and decided to bat first Australia
Australian captain Pat Cummins confirmed he too would bat first if he won the toss as Australia went in unchanged.
Australia have stuck with their winning formula despite Covid infections running through the camp. Allrounder Cameron Green and manager Andrew McDonald tested positive for Covid yesterday after Travis Head had tested positive earlier in the week. Head has since tested negative. Green is fit to play and MacDonald will continue to coach the team, but both will be kept slightly out of the squad throughout the first part of the Test until they test negative.
Captain Usman Khawaja is also fit to play having recovered from a knock on the head late in the Adelaide Test.
