“This is part of the Court’s continued efforts to engage with stakeholders, with the specific aim of filling significant gaps in knowledge about the Court by local residents, including key stakeholders,” the President said. said.
He said the campaign had three main components: media appearances, advocacy, engagement with lawyers and law students, meetings with various community members and stakeholders, and ending with a press conference. Ta.
Justice Asante said the campaign aims to reach all stakeholders of the court by providing relevant information about the court, mainly its mandate, jurisdiction, procedures before the court, enforcement of decisions, challenges, and interactions with the state. He also said the delegation will pay courtesy calls to the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Integration, the Attorney General and the Minister of Justice, who are responsible for domestic ECOWAS affairs, to discuss issues of mutual interest.
