On February 19, 2024, YEN.com.gh had a live interaction with Ghanaian rapper Medikal ahead of his well received O2 Indigo concert.
Medikal recently flew to the UK for a rehearsal at the famous London venue as he ramps up preparations for his first London show.
During the chat, Meidkal talked about how he won GH₵300K from a single game as he bragged about the hits he made to his fellow musicians.

Medikal opens up about his wins and losses
During YEN.com.gh live interaction with Medikal, he recounted a FIFA soccer match he played with $26,000 (over GH₵320k) in prize money.
The musician, who has now triumphed over most of his peers, said his forays into the gaming world stemmed from the exposure he had as a young boy.
“My dad introduced me to gaming. He came back from Germany and brought me a console, then I was hooked and since then I’ve never looked back,” he revealed.
After talking about his obsession with gaming, Medikal also shared the journey to his first concert in London.
According to VGMA 2019 and 2020 Hip Hop Artist of the Year, there are plans to show UK fans more of him as he hopes to sell out O2 Indigo Arena on his first attempt.

Medikal shares the secret behind his lucky black slippers
Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that Medikal had broken his silence on his obsession with his lucky black Chale Wote, which he wore on his recent flight to the UK.
The musician revealed that the slippers had become his favorite after he signed a very lucrative deal wearing them.
