Mr Boakye spoke at the inauguration of the Volta Regional Campaign Team at the NPP Regional Secretariat in Ho.
“On your authority, I would like to inform you that the president-elect and the leadership of the 2024 campaign team will give you a goal,” he said.

“For example, even if you lose the election, if you achieve your goal, you’ve won the election in our book. After all, even if you don’t achieve your goal, if you win the district, According to our book, you’re losing because, you know why, we want Congress. [votes] and we want a president [votes] Similarly,” he emphasized.
Mr Boakye said the PCs who achieved their goals deserved to be appointed to Dr Bawumia’s government.
He implored constituency executives and heads of cities, cities and districts to stop violating the PC and work together to gather votes ahead of the elections.
“Please, this is a request from Mr. Vice President. We will win together. It is important that we work together to ensure we achieve our goals,” he said.
Mr Boakye expressed optimism that under the leadership of Regional Chairman Makafui Woanya, the Volta Region would see an increase in the number of votes in the December 7 general elections.
