- Nigerian record label Dapper Music has revealed Lasmid as their newly signed artiste
- The company shared a statement to announce its decision on social media on March 28
- Lasmid will join a host of young Nigerian superstars including Shalipopi and Seyi Vibez
Ghanaian musician Nathaniel Owusu has signed a record deal with Nigerian record label Dapper Music.
The company, founded in 2018, released a statement online sharing its excitement as it confirmed the deal, which has been on the vine for a long time.
The 24-year-old Ghanaian will join the likes of Seyi Vibez, Shalipopi and a host of other young Nigerians who have shot to fame in recent years.

Lasmid rose to fame with his debut single, Friday Night, which became a TikTok trend. The young Ghanaian superstar co-signed by producer Hammer and rapper Sarkodie is currently sitting at #17 on the Apple Music Ghana Top 100 chart with his latest track, Puul.
With Dapper MusicWith its experience as a 360 service company, Lasmid is expected to benefit from the company’s extensive experience and network across the continent.
“Lasmid becomes the first non-Nigerian artiste to join the roster of Dapper Music and Entertainment. This landmark signing is not only significant for Lasmid, but also a testament to the Dapper Group’s pan-African attitude, tapping into the vast pool of talent it has the continent to offer,” the label added in its statement.

Sarkodie Announces New Collaboration With Lasmid
Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that Sarkodie had revealed at the recent Rapperholic show that he had featured Lasmid in a collaboration that will be released soon.
The rapper announced the new collaboration after performing Lasmid’s Butta My Bread with him in front of an August audience.
