Currently, Rwanda has less than 1% of the population connected to a post office and often characterized by long queues and limited accessibility.
MPOST’s eP.O.Box system will enable Rwandan citizens to convert their mobile phone numbers into official postal addresses. This solution allows more people and businesses to receive mail and packages directly to their mobile-connected eP.O.Box, eliminating the need for physical PO boxes and providing a seamless and convenient postal experience.
How does it work
When registered with ePOBox, users can have the following features:
- Access to all postal services including sending and receiving mail and parcels
- Get seamless access to government services, including obtaining driver’s licenses, logs, passports and property titles.
- Access e-commerce solutions and shop easily on local platforms like Rwandamat and international giants like Amazon and Alibaba.
- Access financial services such as bank accounts and make financial transactions without problems.
