Development of coherence
Seven-time Paralympic champion Hannah Cockroft understands how valuable initiatives like Super Movers for Every Body can be in helping to develop and maintain a sense of inclusion.
“Ensuring that no child misses out on PE and sport in schools, whether they’re disabled or not,” said Cockroft, Super Movers ambassador, “It encourages everyone that they can move, they can be active and they can included.
“Giving teachers and children the confidence, skills and knowledge they need to ensure no one is left out is so important to me. We need to recognize that any child can do sport, it’s just finding the right activity and making any adjustments to find the right way for it.
“I have so many skills from being involved in sports that have been so valuable in all aspects of my life and I want every child to have the opportunity to develop those skills.”
Equipment packages and online resources will authorize teachers, parents and caregivers for the introduction of new sports children both during the school term and during the summer holidays, grant their with new opportunities as the building up to the Paralympic Games in Paris this August goes down way.

Encouraging alliance
England’s all-time leading scorer in blind football, David Clarke, who is Chief Executive of ParalympicsGB, believes the scheme will help ensure no primary school student is left out during PE lessons, but also will break down barriers.
“Super Movers for Every Body will empower teachers and parents with the skills they need and provide thousands of schools with the equipment to offer inclusive sports sessions that challenge perceptions of what disabled people can do” , Clarke said.
“Just as importantly, it will also promote the power of alliance and give children a greater understanding of the benefits of creating a truly inclusive environment at an age where they will have these skills for life.
“People with disabilities of all ages tell us that representation is key to breaking down barriers to participation, and that’s why I’m so proud that these valuable resources have so many athletes with disabilities demonstrating the unique power of sport to connect us.” .
Super Movers For Every Body will complement the year-round delivery of Premier League Primary Stars in primary schools.
