Phlipa Baafi’s word
According to the gospel singer, even though Nacee is facing stiff competition from Artsites like King Promise, Sarkodie and Stonebwoy, he stands apart from them considering his song “Aseda” resonated more with the world last year.
He added that Nacee needed to work harder and was more deserving of being crowned Artist of the Year on the night.
“Gospel music has evolved significantly, by the grace of God. It is not surprising, considering the remarkable contributions of artists such as Diana Hamilton, Joe Mettle, Piesie Esther and others who have made us all proud. Therefore, it is not shock to me that Nacee has worked tirelessly and won a place he deserved this year, I’m sure he will excel in this category, and I’m sure he’ll win the ultimate prize.
