Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has called on former President John Mahama to engage in a two-man debate ahead of the December 7, 2024 general elections.
In a statement issued by the Communications Director of the Bawumia campaign team, Dennis Miracles Aboazi, he stressed that the debate gives Ghanaians an opportunity to choose their next leader after President Akufo-Addo. It was done.
Mr. Aboagyi stressed that the debate will focus on the achievements of both candidates and the solutions they propose to address the current economic challenges facing the country.
He also said the debate will help voters gauge both candidates, especially their governance records and approaches to national issues.
“The big question in 2024 lies in the character of the two men. Which of the two leading candidates will Ghanaians want as their next leader after 2024? The one who has done it, or the one who has shown what he can do? Why are we asking for a chance to show what he can do as president when he can do it as vice president? Are you inviting the opposition to have a debate about these two people?”
“Dr Bawumia’s campaign is calling on Ghanaian voters to focus on the credibility and weight of the respective policies of the two leading presidential candidates, Bawumia and Mahama. In the coming months, Bawumia’s election The movement intends to humbly but decisively address all the major issues facing our country.” Given the positive upturn in our country and the current positive upturn, if given the mandate in December, the President We intend to consolidate on the gains made so far and tackle unresolved issues head-on,” excerpts from the statement said.
